Papillion

So these are completely out of order now. Life's back in full swing since Christmas break and film pictures need no editing, so up they go first.

While in Denver, we re-visited the Westminster Butterfly Pavilion. That is one of my favorite places to be in the winter! It's warm and slightly humid, there's tropical foliage, and the entomologist wannabe in me rejoices at all the insect classification, pinned specimens, and hovering butterflies everywhere.


The owl butterflies were the most common.

 


Henrietta was darling in her new outfit. I love her little bonnet!

Berns family picture. Hugo was actually a lot happier than he looks here.

The paper kites seemed to love landing on Trevor. We think they were attracted to his new cologne and his ability to hold still for long periods of time.
