Butterfield Canyon

We finally had a laid back Saturday!

In the morning it was toasted bagels with a side of fresh strawberries, raspberries and cream. This was followed by laundry, lawn mowing, dishes, and vacuuming which were all actually very relaxing compared to other things we've been doing lately.

Then we headed to the temple. The temple is always such a pick-me-upper. There was a cheerful bridal party outside and inside it was so quiet and peaceful and everyone there was calm and happy as usual.

After the temple we stopped for gelato (biscotti for me and raspberry cheesecake for John) and drove up the canyon to take in the spring greenery. I scoped out a couple of little meadows that would be perfect for portraits of some sort. Now I just need models. Anyone game?

Hopefully this a foreshadowing of summer.

Family pictures? I guess depending on how far this place is from us. Looks so lush though!
