Color Palette

The LeSueur's are headed to Jackson Hole this summer for a small get together with parents, siblings + spouses, and the grandchildren. We are so excited! Dreaming of warmer weather, family, and nature makes wading through these cold, dreary and polluted months a little more tolerable.

One of the things we hope to accomplish during our vacation is a family picture.  John's mom wanted us to help pick out the colors, so I immediately jumped on it because, let's be honest, it's nice to have a break from thinking about work.  Sometimes one just needs a creative outlet and playing with colors and outfit ideas is a lot more fun than making a Punnett square worksheet.  John could care less, but he actually has a pretty good eye for these things. Mary likes tan and we wanted to mix in a few other options so as to not be too monochromatic.  Some of the color scheme inspirations are above: tan and navy as the primary colors, gray for the secondary, and as suggested by Amanda, a splash of cranberry as an accent.  What do you think?

I'm still trying to convince my family to take a picture, but it hasn't happened yet.  The Mori family is having a reunion this summer as well, though this will be with the whole extended family at Lake Tahoe.  Oh summer, get here faster!

ooh jackson hole and lake tahoe sound amazing! i think those colors are great. i think the cranberry as an accent will be perfect to add more color. would you ever add yellow as an accent color too? or is that getting too much/crazy?!

How do I get in on the family reunion? Or am I too extended? This is your cousin Matt by the way.

Hey Matt! My dad said you can email him. He said Gordy might know some things about it as well. Here's my dad's email:

I hope you to see you and your family this summer!
