Imitation Sudek

From that assignment I did back in July. A lot of my classmates based their assignments on more modern photographers like Avedon and Leibovitz, and while I admire these artists too, something about the old romanticism in Sudek's lighting drew me to his pictures. Josef Sudek was a one armed photographer. They say he used to "stalk the light" to get the perfect photograph. I shot these on Ilford HP5, ISO 400.
