Summer Trip to Colorado

For the last week, John and I have been in Colorado to spend time with John's Dad while his mom went to visit Amanda and Branden in England. It was truly one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. No agendas, just family, good food, and lots of bridge! John's older sister Stephanie lives close to his parents' house in Colorado, so we were also able to spend some time with cute little nieces and nephews too. That means lots of Wii and Little League.

Grandpa is one popular guy!

Trevor and cousin Brian.

John's mother returned a couple of days before we left, so we were able to spend some time with her as well. We got a tour of Highlands Ranch and looked at some potential neighborhoods. Neither my immediate family nor John's immediate family lives in Utah (Why are we here again? Oh, yeah, I teach school here. Wait! Why are we here again?) so Denver will most likely be our next move.

Melinda, we were in Colorado this week, too. We were also in Highlands Ranch. It is gorgeous there. And I began pondering the same question: Why are we here again?
