Good News

The Virgin Suicides filter just came out on clear play! If you've never read the book, read it. It's both nostalgic and witty at the same time. I saw the movie in the theater when it first came out and fell in love with it. I was in high school then. Sophia Coppola does a beautiful job with dreamy shots and capturing the awkwardness and confusion of those teenage years. I actually love all her movies. They seem to flaunt girlishness in an unapologetic and quirky way. One of my favorite parts of the movie is the montage where the boys dream of the Lisbon girls romping in sun soaked fields with a unicorn thrown in the series of shots.
